2015 end-of-year letter

Dear friends,

At this wonderful time of year, whatever kind of year we have had, it is good to take a moment to reflect on our blessings. At Ironstone Farm we have suffered three big losses in 2015 – Board member Jim Gleason who helped us start our Ironstone Therapy programs; Dick Donovan, our founder and visionary; and Jaime Velez, our beloved instructor. All three are greatly missed. But all three leave a legacy at Ironstone Farm that we will always honor and pledge to always maintain. We are truly blessed to have had them as such an integral part of Ironstone Farm’s history – and to have known them as friends.

With this letter we ask you to include in your moment of reflection consideration of an end-of-year donation to Ironstone Farm’s nonprofit programs. Our appeal is simple: Our annual operating budget is $1.3 million. We are able to earn 50 percent of that. We must raise, through the contributions of a generous community, the rest. Please help us to meet this need for 2015.

Whatever you choose – please know that your contribution is needed and appreciated! Support can be mailed to Ironstone Farm, 450 Lowell St., Andover, MA 01810, or you can call us at 978-475-4056, or you can follow one of the links above, or you can give through Guidestar.

And know that you are making a difference in many lives!

On behalf of everyone at Ironstone – two and four legged – thank you!
