BRICK EXAMPLES: People can order bricks with or without clip art. Clinton Strong’s brick, for example, has the U.S. Marine symbol. There are three lines of text available on each brick, with a limited number of characters available per line.
VIEW POSSIBLE CLIP ART FOR BRICKS
Ironstone Farm has launched a “Brick by Brick” Campaign to raise a significant amount of money for its five-year capital campaign.
Laser-engraved bricks cost $125 each for 4-by-8 bricks and $250 each for 8-by-8-inch bricks. The engraved bricks can be used to honor or otherwise show appreciation for a loved one. The traditional (4-by-8) bricks can carry up to three short lines of text with the option of one clip-art image. The square (8-by-8) bricks can support up to six lines of text, with an image.
The bricks are seen as an affordable way for many more people to be involved in the multi-million campaign underway to further improve the reach and nonprofit programs available at Ironstone Farm.
INSPIRATION FOR PLAZA
The brick campaign is the brainchild of Leadership Committee member Pete Soucy, whose granddaughter rides at Ironstone Farm.
There will be several areas at the farm where bricks are places, creating paths or plazas for viewing.
These areas are meant to serve daily as a prominent and visible reminder to all who visit Ironstone Farm that thousands of people support the critical mission of the Ironstone organization in an impressively tangible way. Beyond that, they will serve as places at Ironstone that riders can visit before and after their lessons. They will see, in a way not possible before, that even more caring people than they ever imagined truly do support them and Ironstone Farm.
Together, engraved and permanently in place, the bricks will be a physical presence at the farm and a mental image of what Ironstone stands for. From this focal point of inspiration, the riders, their families, friends and the community at large can carry both the mental image and an emotional feeling of the true Spirit of Ironstone wherever they go, whatever they do.
