Ironstone Farm has a large indoor arena (behind this rider), as well as a second, smaller indoor facility. But most people prefer to ride outdoor at our 19-acre horse farm.

For over 20 years, Ironstone Farm’s summer camp has provided students with a fun, safe and educational environment in which to learn basic horsemanship skills and enjoy their camp experience with new friends from many different communities. The camp is open to students ages 7 to 16.

A staff of knowledgeable and licensed professional instructors provide the tools and skills to ensure a positive experience for the students.

People can attend all-day sessions or morning or afternoon sessions. The morning session runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the afternoon sessions run from 2 to 5 p.m. All-day sessions run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please email or call 978-475-4056 with any questions about the programs.

NOTE: Summer camp has sold out for 16 consecutive years.

A riding evaluation is required for all new riders and all who have not ridden at Ironstone Farm for six months or more. Please call the office to schedule a riding evaluation at least 2 weeks prior to your first week of camp.

Ironstone Farm summer camp programs have been inspected and licensed by the Andover Board of Health and meet the regulations promulgated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
