Congratulations to our employee of the month, Maggie Berthiaume! Since she first came to Ironstone in 2008, Maggie has grown from a volunteer to a weekly rider to our barn assistant (but that doesn’t stop her from still doing all three in a single day)!
She always shows up ready to support our barn, lessons, and volunteer team however she can with a positive attitude and a smile! Her loyalty and dedication to Ironstone are heartfelt, through and through. We are so happy to have her on our team!

What is your fondest memory of Ironstone Farm?
My first ride at Ironstone Farm. It was my evaluation lesson in the spring of 2009, and I rode Bergen! So much fun!
What is an important lesson you have learned during your time at Ironstone?
Patience. You need a lot of it if you’re working with a 1,000+ pound animal with a mind of its own!
