Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Month, Sahana Gorur! Sahana is the epitome of reliability and enthusiasm, always arriving for her shifts with a smile and ready to give her all. She is an Ironstone tour de force far beyond her regular volunteer work. Not only does Sahana take weekly riding lessons at the farm, but she also lends her time to our special weekend programs and is often one of the first to join us for outside Ironstone events like Run for the Troops and Andover Days where her passion for the farm truly shines. Sahana’s commitment and energy make a difference in everything she does, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our Ironstone family!

How did you discover Ironstone Farm?
I started volunteering at ironstone as part of community service through my high school. I loved it so much that I have stayed ever since then.
What is your fondest memory you have from volunteering?
My favorite memory is working with the kids in the Lucy’s Love Bus program and seeing the smiles on their faces.
What does Ironstone Farm mean to you?
Challenge Unlimited has given me the opportunity to help others just like others have helped me with my challenges.
Thank you, Sahana, for exemplifying our mission and values in all you do!
