How did you discover Ironstone Farm?

I am a premed student, and my mom told me that Ironstone would be a great place to volunteer. Now I have been volunteering for a few years, and I am constantly suggesting my peers at UMass Lowell to volunteer at Ironstone!!

What is your fondest memory you have from volunteering?

Every single time I pick up a shift, a new memory is made. I will say a lot of funny memories were made when I volunteered at camp recently! Though I will never forget meeting Coje (the horse) for the first time, I got to lead her for a lesson, and before I met her, I had no clue she was so tall, but she was so gentle and pretty, and I really hope to work with her again soon!

What does Ironstone Farm mean to you?

I really love volunteering here, and I am so grateful to be a part of the team both because of the horses and the people! The community at Ironstone is the type of community I wish to be a part of for the rest of my life, and the connection that the clients make with the horses and everyone involved in all the programs here cannot be replicated!

Thank you, Dylan, for exemplifying our mission and values in all you do!
