SPONSOR A HORSE

Support our horses. Support our mission.

At Ironstone Farm, healing doesn’t happen in quiet therapy rooms—it happens in barns, in paddocks, and in the gentle rhythm of hooves on soft earth. It happens because of our horses. These aren’t just animals. They are trusted companions, silent listeners, and steady guides for children with disabilities, veterans seeking peace, adults facing illness, and anyone in need of strength and connection. Our horses are the heartbeat of Ironstone Farm. They carry more than riders—they carry stories, struggles, and hope. And every tail swish, nuzzle, and ride is made possible through generous support from people like you.
When you Fund a Horse, you’re not just helping with hay, vet visits, and warm blankets. You’re saying yes to love without judgment, to strength without words, to healing that starts with a hoofbeat and grows with every step. You’re believing in the magic of these four-legged heroes. And you’re believing in the potential of every person they help along the way. Because, let’s be honest—horses are pretty cool. But Ironstone horses? They’re absolutely extraordinaryy.

Meet The Heroes of Ironstone Farm

Each of our herd members has their own unique personality that makes them truly special to us. Check out our herd members you can support to help them carry out transformative services to those who need it most.

Unico

The Golden Boy

If horses could binge-watch Netflix, Unico would be curled up on your couch with popcorn. Known as our “golden retriever,” Unico is the ultimate comfort pony — loyal, loving, and endlessly patient. He shines in sessions with young children and young adults with disabilities, always showing up with a calming presence and a heart full of kindness. His versatility makes him one of our most treasured healers.

Jessica

The Queen of Hearts

Jessica isn’t just ahorse— she’s apresence. Regal, photogenic, and endlessly compassionate, she rules the farm with grace. Jessica has a special gift for connecting with those healing from trauma, especially in our cancer and recovery programs. She reminds riders that strength lives within them and that healing is not only possible — it’s powerful. With Jessica, every ride is a chance to begin again.

Jack

The Gentle Giant

With his striking dark coat and soulful eyes, Jack is impossible to miss — and impossible not to love. A true favorite among riders of all ages, Jack forms bonds that run deep. Whether he’s supporting a nervous child or gently walking beside a senior, Jack makes every person feel seen, valued, and loved. He’s not just a pony. He’s a friend.

Freddie

Small But Mighty

Don’t let his size fool you — Freddie is a powerhouse of heart and healing. He meets each of his “littles” with gentle determination, ready to support their emotional and physical needs. Whether it’s a first ride or a tough day, Freddie shows up with courage and calm, helping children take brave steps on their journey to healing.

Saint

The Saint of the Farm

With a heartas big as his hooves, Saint is as peaceful as his name suggests. Towering in size but soft in spirit, this uniquely marked beauty has an almost magical ability to connect with our veterans. Saint helps them breathe a little deeper, feel a little safer, and find moments of peace in the stillness of his presence. He doesn’t just carry riders — he carries their burdens, too.

A huge thank you to our pioneer sponsors who helped launch this initiative with a year-long commitment to supporting one of our greatest assets. Our herd care is held to the highest standard, and without the safety and heath of our horses we would not be able to support the hundreds of riders that come through our doors each week. Thank you to our sponsors for helping to support food, shelter, vet, dental, and farrier care & equipment to keep our mission thriving.
