Thank you to all who attended and supported our 2024 Ironstone Derby!
Nearly 400 attendees and over 30 sponsors came together to help support the therapy horses at the heart of our mission. We are truly grateful to everyone who contributed to bringing such a beloved event back with a bang! The funds we raised will go a long way to ensure our herd of 25 horses receives the top-quality care they need to keep changing lives.
The Ironstone Derby winner is.....
DESMOND!
Attendees saw a close competition on May 4th as they placed wagers on the farm favorite in our very own Ironstone Derby. Our therapy pony, Desmond, emerged triumphant and was gifted his very own rose garland! As one of our most versatile horses, Desmond has made a tremendous impact in the lives of those we serve across almost every program. From hippotherapy to therapeutic riding, and group programs for youth at-risk, veterans, and more, he has touched the hearts of thousands at Ironstone Farm. We are so proud of his legacy of love! Congratulations Desmond!
